When you're too long in the mire, the silt gets into your eyes.

When you finally think, "hey today I'll take less shit from the people around me", you find out how covered in it you are already.

/rantover

5k today, quite unfocussed, if your mental state is like a top, there are times where you feel it's spinning faster and faster and faster and you have no real way to pull yourself back to earth, you could say that it feels like you're living in fast forward.

Overhauled the platy tank outside today. Because, um, the entire tank is a block of green water and you can't see for nuts inside. Defeats the entire purpose of having a tank in the first place. Due to the algae in the water, of course, and the strong sunlight it gets everyday. And the shit has really been building up on the bottom so yeah high time for a overhaul.

Fish were not pleased, to say the least. For their size they're damn strong, maybe I'm overfeeding them a bit too much. Anyway the algae's likely going to grow back in like, 2 or 3 days =/ I'd like to get an angelfish to put inside but then again I'm going for ns next year, may or may not be able to be back everyday to take care or even to look at them. And, yeah, the aforementioned green block problem, which means the fish can't really recognize you, you can't see the fish and everytime you get close they get the crap scared out of them.

Oh, my cousin is nuts. 274 for psle, self study chionger some more. Goodness kids these days are crazy.

Anyone got songs to reccomend? I could name something else that needs overhauling.

There's been something my dad's told me, that I don't really notice the warning signs that well, something's going to go wrong with my system.

Actually after thinking about it for a while (years, really) I find that it's not that I don't notice, it's just that more often than not to ignore those signs.
Sometimes though, these decisions which may seem quite mundane can end up to be life or death choices. I was just thinking about that when I went running today. Ended up feeling a tightness around my chest area... last time I hear that's a symptom of unfitness and uh, I don't think I'm that unfit.
Anyway, thought better of it and made my way back home.

It started raining almost immediately. The gods must have something against me running today.

Uh, possible worst case scenarios?
Heart stop, die
Caught in rain, sick for paper
Caught in rain, sick, get myocarditis again, get another wire pushed into me
Caught in rain, sick, get myocarditis again, die anyway

Ain't life just a bed of roses?

Me: eh the platies got female ones anot?

Father: erm I think the shopkeeper told us all female one.

Me: aiyah cannot be, you tell me all male maybe I believe but female definitely not.

Father: o how you know?

One thing you learn about eating at cafes and places like these. Try to get the newer staff members to serve you. My chocolate waffle was practically bursting with chocolate. Think hot melted chocolate oozing out the moment you put the slightest pressure on it with the knife... to the jealousy of Shimon =x It's quite a sight to see a green guy eat a white and red waffle.

And we ended up using our (plastic) knives and forks to fight over who got to scrape the remaining chocolate off my plate. Mature right.

So anyway. First week's been.... alright I guess. Math is (dead and) gone, I've made some exceedingly stupid mistakes but ah what the heck give me my A and I'm a happy man.

Nothing else much to blog about really, study is study. What else is there to it >_>

Hm

Looking back on the past four years I've had many many songs (works, whatever) pass through the earphones on my mp3 player. Yeah and the mp3 player has changed too, from the stone age 32 megabytes thing that I currently still use as a thumbdrive, to the 2gb creative zen I now own, and some others in the middle as well.

Here are some that have withstood the test of time (boredom is the word) that have moved across players as I've changed them, those that I'd never take out because they're pretty much a part of me already. Of course not that I don't like the new ones, but they're yet unproven.

Vienna Teng - Lullaby for a Stormy Night
This one... wow. This is probably THE song that continues to make me speechless when it hits me at the right time, despite having had it for so long. I more recently got the rest of the album (don't know why I put it off until now) and really I can't say I've heard a damn lot of singers, but she remains the only one who can just... hit it. She doesn't have the iron vocals of some powerhouses like... eh, you know, but to me she's just up there.

Eternity ~ Memories of Lightwaves - Noriko Matsueda
The piano version is currently the most played song in my player I think. 122 plays if I'm not wrong. And I've probably made every single person in tjmep sick of it by playing the unfinished piece over and over and over again.

古都风情 - 陈能济
It's a co piece, learned it when I was playing for chengsan co in.. 2006. It's currently one of the more popular pieces in the repertoire, and there's this really really unforgettable cello melody that's garnered it's staying power.

The World is Black - Good Charlotte
Hm, what can I say? Perfect song for a cynical bastard like me.

I Will - Sowelu
This one is the last ED theme for the anime for fullmetal alchemist. I think the video goes really really well with the style and that's probably what got me hooked onto it. It's more or less stuck from then on.

Hah. I guess these are the "golden oldies" that I'll continue to look back on. If you've known me for some time I'll probably have introduced one or more of these to you at some point of time. Or course I'll need to step it up a notch, listen to more stuff, things like that. Maybe when I do this again in a year's time it'll have stayed pretty much the same, or it might have changed beyond what I could ever imagine. Until then.

Oh and, seven click run^^ I think I'm a weirdo. I get healthier during mugging periods. It's no joke though, especially with a stitch >_>

ME

This is me

YIHENG
VICTORIAN
Tjcian

Shengplayer!
(Chinese mouth organist?)

I'm just your average seventeen year old boy, who plays not such an average instrument. If you want to, read. If you can, enjoy. If you'd like to, tag. If not any, it's been nice of you to visit, and I hope you'll like me better in real life.

I'm a dreamer at heart but I'm no different from you reading this. I like what you like and hate what you hate and well, if you hate me then that's just one dfference we share andwhat makes me not you and you not Yiheng.

Music is, and I hope will continue to be, a huge part of my life. If I could tell you why, I would but it would be impossible because music is just music, and there are no other words capable of describing it because you simply can't, and if ther were they'd just mean music all over again.
